01The challenge

What we were handed

A multinational client needed to house and sustain six hundred personnel on a site with no permanent accommodation, no potable water connection and no waste infrastructure. Occupancy was fixed by an operational date that could not move, and the existing arrangement split catering, cleaning, waste and maintenance across four separate suppliers who each escalated problems to the client rather than solving them between themselves.

02The solution

What we did about it

Gashi Strategies took the entire life support scope under one contract. We surveyed the site, designed a camp layout around the terrain and access routes rather than a standard template, and installed modular accommodation selected for rapid build and later relocation. A dining facility was constructed and commissioned, potable water supply and wastewater treatment were established, and laundry, cleaning and portable sanitation were folded into the same operation with one point of contact for the client.

Approach

How the work was sequenced

  • Site survey covering ground conditions, access routes and utility availability before any layout was drawn
  • Modular accommodation specified for rapid installation and future relocation
  • Dining facility built and commissioned to serve three meals daily at full occupancy
  • Potable water supply, wastewater treatment and scheduled waste removal established on site
  • Single management structure replacing four separate subcontracts
  • Population-linked scaling so services flex with headcount rather than contract renewal dates
